Janelle Luquette, J.D., M.A.

Janelle Luquette, M.A., J.D., joined Teche Health in 2018 and currently serves as Chief Human Resources and Workforce Development Officer. She earned her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center and her Master of Arts in Adult Education from Northwestern State University.

As a member of Teche Health’s Executive Committee, Janelle helps shape the organization’s efforts to advance its growth strategy by supporting its most valuable asset—its employees.

In this role, Janelle leads Teche Health’s overall human resources strategy, including talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, organizational design and cultural development, employee education and development, compensation and benefits, human resources operations and technology, employee relations, and organization-wide workforce development.

Janelle has more than 20 years of management and human resources experience across multiple industries. Before joining Teche Health, she served as director of financial aid and an adjunct professor at South Louisiana Community College. In addition to her work in higher education, she has held leadership positions in business and healthcare.

Janelle has extensive experience working with senior leaders in the areas of succession planning, team effectiveness, leadership development, cultural integration, mergers and acquisitions, employee development, and coaching.

Throughout her career, Janelle has received awards and recognition for her work, including special recognition from the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs for her dedication to supporting student veterans.
